This page explains which cookies and similar storage technologies Farming Calculator uses, why, how long they last, and how you can accept, refuse, or change your choice at any time. Last updated: September 30, 2026.

1. Who we are

The data controller for this website is Cristiano Fabris, acting as an independent developer. Contact: contact@farmingcalculator.com. For general information on how personal data is processed, see our Privacy Policy.

2. What we mean by cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This site also uses your browser's localStorage (for preferences and consent) and the Cache API (used by the offline service worker). Some storage is strictly necessary and does not require consent. Analytics storage requires your prior, opt-in consent: nothing is loaded until you click Accept. Refusing has no consequence (no cookie wall).

3. Strictly necessary storage (no consent required)

These remember your choices and keep the site working. They are never used for advertising or profiling: theme (farmingcalculator.theme-mode), language and unit preferences, recent calculators, and consent receipt (farmingcalculator_cookie_consent, 180 days, versioned). The service worker cache stores static files only and contains no personal data. This site is served through Cloudflare, which may set its own strictly necessary security cookies; see Cloudflare's Cookie Policy for details.

4. Analytics storage (only with your consent)

If and only if you accept, we load Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Dublin, on behalf of Google LLC, USA) using Google Consent Mode v2 with all storage denied by default. The Measurement ID is configured at deploy time and is not hardcoded in this policy. The service may set _ga (2 years) and _ga_* (13 months) for aggregate statistics. Analytics retention is set to 14 months. Transfers to the US take place under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.

If you withdraw consent, the Google tag is disabled immediately and the site's Google Analytics cookies are deleted. Your choice can be changed at any time.

5. Fonts and third-party content

Farming Calculator uses self-hosted fonts and static assets: no third-party font request is required and no advertising cookies are set by fonts. If this changes, this section will list domains, provider, purpose and storage.

6. What we do NOT do

No advertising cookies and no profiling for marketing; no sale or sharing of cookie data with data brokers; no analytics before consent; no cookie wall.

7. Legal basis

Strictly necessary storage: legitimate interest in providing a working, secure website (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)/(f)); no consent required. Analytics storage: only on freely given consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a); ePrivacy art. 5(3)).

8. Giving, refusing, and withdrawing consent

On first visit a banner offers Accept Analytics or Necessary only. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: reopen preferences from the footer or the button above, or clear site cookies and localStorage. Withdrawal takes effect immediately.

9. Your rights

Under GDPR articles 15-22 you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object, and withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with your authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it). Contact: contact@farmingcalculator.com.

10. Changes to this policy
