Description and history
The Aosta Valley Tesa (symbol tes, or toise carrée) is a historical surface unit from Valle d'Aosta, equal to 3.5 square meters.
It measured small alpine plots, mountain meadows, terraced vineyards and rural buildings. The name comes from the French toise.
